1、 Concentration Overview

Efficient thickeners are generally composed of a concentration tank, a cake rack, a transmission device, a cake rack lifting device, a feeding device, a unloading device, and a signal safety device. The high-efficiency thickener is suitable for the dewatering treatment of concentrate and tailings in mineral processing plants. It is widely used in industries such as metallurgy, chemical industry, coal, non-metallic mineral processing, and environmental protection. 2、 The working principle of an efficient thickener The sludge thickener mainly consists of two parts: a circular thickener and a rake scraper. The solid particles suspended in the slurry in the concentration tank settle under the action of gravity, and the upper part becomes clear water, enabling the separation of solid and liquid. The mineral mud deposited at the bottom of the concentration tank is continuously scraped by a rake scraper to the central discharge port at the bottom of the tank for discharge, while the clarified water overflows from the upper edge of the concentration tank. III. Characteristics of sludge thickener equipment: It is characterized by high efficiency, energy conservation, convenient installation, flexible configuration, and good controllability. 1. Add flocculants to increase the particle size of settling solid particles, thereby accelerating the settling speed;

2. Install inclined plates to shorten the settling distance of ore particles and increase the settling area;

3. The sludge thickener plays a role in flocculating, filtering, compressing, and increasing the treatment capacity of the thick phase layer of mud deposition;

The main characteristic of efficient sludge thickener operation is to add a certain amount of flocculant to the slurry to be concentrated, causing the mineral particles in the slurry to form flocs, accelerating their settling speed, and thus achieving the goal of improving concentration efficiency.
