The ZSG series linear vibrating screen also uses an inertia exciter to generate vibration. The vibration source of the linear vibrating screen is an exciter driven by a motor. The exciter has two shafts, each with an eccentric weight (as shown in the figure below), rotating in the opposite direction. So it is also known as a dual axis linear vibrating screen, which is meshed by two gears to ensure synchronization. When two eccentric disks rotate, the centrifugal force F generated by the two eccentric weights offsets each other on the x-axis and adds up on the y-axis, resulting in a reciprocating excitation force in the y-axis direction, causing the screen box to vibrate in a reciprocating linear trajectory in the y-axis direction.

When the vibration source of the ZSG series linear screen uses a vibration motor, two sets must be arranged, with their axes aligned with the longitudinal axis of the linear vibration screen (not parallel, with an angle). Two vibration motors are symmetrically arranged on the upper, lower, and both sides of the screen box.

The inclination angle of the screen surface of a linear vibrating screen is usually below 8, and the vibration angle of the screen surface is generally 45. The screen surface moves back and forth in a straight line under the action of an exciter. The particles are ejected and fall back under the vibration of the screen surface, causing the material to continuously move forward during the vibration process of the screen surface. The projection and falling of materials have an impact on the sieve surface, causing particles smaller than the sieve hole to be screened and separated.

The screening efficiency and production capacity (processing capacity) are related to the inclination angle of the screen surface, vibration angle, and material ejection coefficient. To ensure high screening efficiency and high screening yield, it is necessary to choose an appropriate Ky (ejection coefficient) value, which is the same as the Ky value for circular vibration screening. The ZSG linear screen is driven by dual vibration motors, which rotate synchronously. The excitation force generated by the eccentric block offsets each other in the direction parallel to the motor axis, and is superimposed in the direction perpendicular to the motor axis, so the motion trajectory of the screen machine is a straight line. The two motor shafts have an inclination angle in the vertical direction relative to the screen surface. Under the combined action of excitation force and material self gravity, the material jumps or moves forward in a straight line on the screen surface, thereby achieving the purpose of screening and grading materials. Suitable for screening various dry powder or granular materials with a particle size of 0.074-5mm, a moisture content of less than 7%, and no stickiness, with a feeding particle size greater than 10mm.

The ZSG series linear screen has the characteristics of high screening accuracy, simple structure, convenient maintenance, low energy consumption, low noise, good sealing performance, no dust overflow, and long screen life.

The ZSG series linear sieve is widely used in the screening of dry powder or granular materials in industries such as chemical, food, plastics, pharmaceuticals, metallurgy, glass, building materials, grains, fertilizers, abrasives, ceramics, etc.

The newly purchased ZSG series linear screen should be equipped with an electrical protection device. In the initial stage of operation, the anchor bolts should be reinforced once a day to prevent loosening. When starting, pay attention to the stability of the current, whether there are any abnormal vibrations or noises. Every time the ZSG series linear screen is used, the screen mesh should be cleaned. The motor should ensure good lubrication performance. About half a month, an appropriate amount of lithium based lubricating grease (ZL-3) should be added, and bearings should be regularly inspected and replaced. If it is used again after a long shutdown, the insulation resistance should be measured with a 500 volt megohmmeter first, and the result should be greater than 0.5 megohms.
